Other Woodwork - Amavi Bottle Stage
Stage for placing wine and licquor bottles on bar

This piece is made from alder hardwood with plywood supports, glued and pinned together. It is stained to give a uniform alder look and finished with polyurathane for resistance to bar spills.

It was designed to fit the bar at the Amavi Restaurant in Santa Fe, NM in 2008.

Bottle stage empty and in use The upper left picture shows the before condition and the upper right shows the after condition with the bottle stage virtually hidden. It has helped to display the available liquors to the guests and more efficiently work the bar.
Back side of bottle stage This picture shows the back side of the bottle stage exposing the plywood supports and glue blocks.
